Rod & Mr Bojangles were spotted at White Rock Beach at the Fishboat Restaurant on Marine Drive

Rod who has called White Rock home for 57 years loves to stroll Marine Drive with Mr Bojangles and frequent many of their favorite restaurants like the Fishboat. Tomorrow they might be seen at another favorite restaurant on Marine Drive. The owner of the Fishboat Restaurant even came out to see the 2 famous White Rock Beach Lottery Squirrels Lucky and Sugar-toes and was really excited when Lucky gave him one of our really COOL magnets.
Lucky was on cloud nine because he just dropped off 2 dozen Lucky Mini White Rocks combo packs to 55~55 Marine Drive owned by Tim Lawson who is also a former resident of London, Ontario. Lucky many years ago met Tim’s mother and now has our Lucky Mini White Rock combo packs for sale in Tim’s store – boy, it is a small world. Bring your ideas. The next meeting is Thursday April 26, 6pm at the Semiahmoo First Nation church. Everyone is encouraged to come.
If you want to help but can’t be at the meeting, send us a message. Let us know that you’re interested and we’ll keep you up-to-date.
It takes at least 250 volunteers to make the Spirit of the Sea Festival a safe and fun weekend for our participants, numbering from 50,000 to 100,000. Weather dependent, of course!
We are currently looking for people to plan arts activities, organize races, guard road barricades during the parade, and set up/take down signs and equipment at night.
