Timothy Schell discovered he was the winner Tuesday morning and visited OLG headquarters on Dundas St. to pick up his cheque in the afternoon.
He told 680News he had no intentions of buying a lottery ticket, but a gas station attendant coaxed him.
There are also three winning tickets for the 20 MaxMillions prizes of $1-million each in Friday’s draw.
Those tickets were sold in Quebec, Ontario and on the Prairies.
