Old, torn and sometimes photos in two or more pieces can be restored to their original state or better. Ric Wallace does a high resolution scan from your original image and electronically uses a computer to do the retouching and corrections. High quality photographic prints can be obtained from the computer file. The computer file can be supplied on CD/ DVD, USB, or downloaded from the internet to ensure exact copies can be made for years to come, with no loss in quality like prints made from negatives which will degrade over time.

Summary
Heavy rain continues. A very moist Pacific frontal system has moved onto the South Coast and will bring general rainfall amounts of 50 to 80 through today and tonight. Amounts will likely exceed 100 mm near the North Shore and in the Fraser Valley. Heavy rain will continue in the Fraser Valley and possibly in Metro Vancouver on Friday as the front stalls over the region. Heavy downpours are likely to cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible. Don’t approach washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required.
