Thrill Me a musical by Stephen Dolginoff
presented by Fighting Chance Productions
directed by Ryan Mooney
Stephen Dolginoff‘s musical, “Thrill Me,” played off Broadway in 2003 and 2005. Dolginoff himself won an ASCAP award for “Thrill Me”, which has since been performed around the world. Through a series of flashbacks and musical numbers featuring Leopold and Loeb and a piano accompanist, this production tells the story of Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb, wealthy, educated men, and the murder they committed in 1924 Chicago.

Synopsis: Oxford undergraduates, Jack and Charley, invite their girlfriends to lunch, chaperoned by Charley’s wealthy aunt who in reality is their friend. All goes well until the real aunt shows up, resulting in hilarious confusion for all.

Synopsis: Sorry Wrong Number comes from a classic radio series called Suspense, that was broadcast during the 1940s and 50s. Sorry, Wrong Number, its single most popular episode, was about a bedridden woman who panics after overhearing a murder plot on a crossed telephone connection but is unable to persuade anyone to investigate. It was first broadcast on May 25, 1943, and was restaged seven times, the last on February 14, 1960 — each time with the legendary Agnes Moorehead. DSR Productions provides this classic piece of entertainment.

Synopsis: This is Canadian playwright Michel Trembley’s funny, nostalgic work centered on memories of his mother’s irreverent tales of family and friends. He shows us how the mother’s vision shapes her son, not so much driving him into a world of words and theatre as opening it up to him in ways even she can’t really comprehend. The young son is not only accustomed to her histrionics, but amused and entertained by them as well.
