Wind Warning

Summary
Strong winds that may cause damage are expected or occurring. A frontal system is moving across the south coast with an accompanying low pressure centre tracking into the BC Interior. West to southwest winds of 70 to 100 km/h are occurring over southern Vancouver Island and the inner south coast and will persist until early this evening. Damage to buildings, such as to roof shingles and windows, may occur. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions due to high winds. Wind warnings are issued when there is a significant risk of damaging winds.
