One of the greatest things about living @ White Rock Beach is the FREE 4th of July Fireworks Show put on by our neighbors across the bay in Blaine, WA.

 Come spend the day celebrating the 4th of July in Blaine. Thousands of people come to celebrate the 4th with day-long activities that include a pancake breakfast, a parade at Noon, an art & crafts street fair with over 80+ vendors, a show & shine, live entertainment, and plenty of good food. Get your spot in Blaine Marine Park for a community picnic and jazz concerts. Ride the historic Plover Ferry from Blaine to Semiahmoo Resort where you can make an afternoon and evening of it watching the fireworks over Semiahmoo Bay! Enjoy a Salmon BBQ at Semiahmoo Resort.

Rainfall – early evening. Brief but heavy rain continues. A band of heavy rain extending from White Rock northeastwards through Pitt Meadows is very slowly shifting to the east. 36 mm of rain has been reported in White Rock over the past three hours. Maple Ridge and portions of Langley are likely to experience heavy rain this evening. Locally heavy rainfall is expected to continue for the next few hours.
