It was funny how we heard about Whatcom Falls Park, Bellingham WA. Recently we were watching International house hunters on HGTV and a girl from Bellingham, Washington was moving to Norway. On the show they showed some scenes from Bellingham, WA and showed the falls.  We searched online and found Whatcom Falls Park, 1401 Electric Ave., Bellingham, WA 98226 open Every day Dawn – Dusk. With the Canadian exchange rate that means FREE is FREE. LOL

Location

Bellingham, Washington is about 90 miles north of Seattle, 21 miles south of the Canadian border and about 52 miles south of Vancouver, B.C. The City encompasses about 28 square miles, with north Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands to the west and snow-capped Mount Baker and the North Cascade mountains to the east. Maps

We had no problems finding the falls. We just followed the sound of the water rushing over the falls.  We were the only car with BC plates in the parking lot — we hope to rectify this.
