Summary

Rain, at times heavy, is expected. A Pacific frontal system will move across the South Coast tonight spreading heavy rain to Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley – West region on Monday. Hardest hit areas will be between Port Moody and Maple Ridge where up to 50mm of rain is expected to fall. The rain will ease by Tuesday morning.

Heavy downpours can cause flash floods and water pooling on roads. Rainfall Warnings are issued when significant rainfall is expected. Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please monitor local media or Weatheradio. Email reports of severe weather to [email protected] or tweet with the hashtag #BCStorm.

“how often the trains go through white rock bc”

With the head offices of WhiteRockBeach.ca about 40 seconds from the tracks, we would estimate 30 to 40+ trains a day go through White Rock Beach. Sunday evening seems to be a very busy time.
