Lucky and Sugar-toes were celebrating his birthday and Sugar-toes offered to buy whatever LUCKY wanted. Lucky decided to give Papa Murphy’s on 24th Ave in the South Surrey / White Rock area a try.
This was the first time we set our paws into a Papa Murphy’s Pizza. Having many USA stations on our TV, we have seen their ads many times and heard them on the radio too.

Ric Wallace does a high resolution scan from your original image and electronically uses a computer to do the retouching and corrections. High quality photographic prints can be obtained from the computer file. The computer file can be supplied on CD/ DVD, USB, or downloaded from the internet to ensure exact copies can be made for years to come, with no loss in quality like prints made from negatives which will degrade over time.
Our pizza was wrapped up and GOOD TO GO.
It was so BIG we had to have help to get it into our car. LOL
We enjoyed meeting all the people at Papa Murphy’s on 24th Ave. They were all very excited to see the famous mascots from WhiteRockBeach.ca come through their doors.
We were so excited to find this Take N’ Bake Pizza place, we made the owners White Rock Beach Goodwill Ambassadors.

Papa Murphy’s Take N’ Bake Pizza business model is new to us, but it is destined to be super successful in Canada because of the great service, but even more important because of the GREAT PIZZA. The slices we had left over were even great cold for breakfast. You can squirrel away some money buying PIZZA here as it is NOT BAKED – IT IS NOT TAXABLE.
With Lucky and Sugar-toes also being well known food critics, they would rate the service and food at a 10 on the acorn scale (you can not rate any higher).
On Thursday May 4, 2012 we went to Fred Meyer’s in Bellingham, WA to fill up with gas at $3.80 per US gal / $1 per liter, while in White Rock, BC gas was $141.7 per liter ($5.385 per US gallon). On our last trip to Bellingham, a lady parked beside our car and said the Thai Garden was the best, you have to try it. So we thought we would give it a try this time.
